Spay and Neuter Surgeries

Low-cost spay and neuter surgery for dogs and cats, and rabbits on a case-by-case basis.  Spay/neuter clinics are held every Thursday, Friday and Saturday, by appointment only.  Please call Second Chance at 928-526-5964 x200 to make an appointment.

Please note, we only schedule four weeks at a time.  If the next four weeks is full, your name will be placed on a waiting list and we will contact you when an appointment opens up.

Deposit:

A $25 deposit is required when you make the spay or neuter appointment, either over the phone or in person.  You cannot make an appointment without the $25 deposit.  Your deposit will be returned to you if you cancel up to 48 hours before the appointment.  Otherwise, your deposit will be applied to your final balance.

Prices for Spay and Neuter Surgeries:

Dog Neuter: $75 - $105+ (depending on weight)

0 - 60 lbs: $75

60 - 70 lbs: $85

70 - 80 lbs: $95

80 - 100 lbs: $105

Each addt'l lb over 100: $1 / lb    

  Dog Spay: $75 - $140 (depending on weight)

0 - 60 lbs: $75

60 - 70 lbs: $100

70 - 80 lbs: $120

80 lbs and up: $140

Cat Neuter: $40.00

Cat Spay: $55.00

Rabbits: $75.00

 (An additional fee may apply if the animal is in heat, pregnant, obese or has retained testicles.  All animals over the age of 4 months must have or receive a current rabies vaccination.  Veterinary staff will discuss any of these extra fees with you at the time services are rendered)

Vaccination Clinic

 Every Wednesday and Sunday from 1 - 5 pm

 Except on Holidays or special events (see schedule).

 No exam fee.

 No appointment necessary during scheduled times.

Prices

Rabies Vaccine: $10.00

Microchips: $15 (plus $19.95 to AVID for life time registration)

Bordatella Vaccine (Dogs only): $10.00

Dog 4-1: $20 (Parvo, Distemper, Adenovirus2, Parainfluenza)

Cat 3-1: $20 (Rhinotracheitis, Calicivirus, Panleukopenia)

Continuum Dog or Cat: $44.50 (3 yr rabies with 3 yr 4-1 or 3-1, must be current on vaccines) 

No Exam Fee!
